Ross McBride makes clever designs for clocks.Using old school red LED’s he created the ‘Digital Dali’ inspired by Dali’s Persistence of Memory melting clocks and the ‘Sinking Clock’, as the photo shows, cropped off on one corner so when placed on any flat surface it looks like it’s sinking. Both pieces emphasize the ‘running out of time’ feeling quite effectively. |

Stranger a Day is a fascinating photo project by Roark Johnson. As the project title suggests, he spent a year photographing a complete stranger each day. The resulting 365 portraits are quite compelling. It was hard to pick only nine photos to illustrate this post because they’re all so interesting. Go check them for yourself. |
